Once we form a close connection with our pet, that bond can feel unbreakable. Even when we’re away, we’re eager to check in and see what they’re up to, simply because we care.
That’s exactly why pet cams exist. Still, there’s always a bit of hesitation before turning one on.
That’s how a Massachusetts law student felt during class when she decided to check her pet cam. What she first saw on the screen completely caught her off guard.
But once she figured out what was really happening, it all made sense.
“The Definition Of Chaos”

Bryanna Simons is a law student living in Connecticut with her energetic Border Collie named Colt and her cat, Turbo. Considering the breed, Colt’s high energy isn’t surprising—and Turbo keeps up just fine.
That’s why Bryanna often checks the pet cam while she’s away to keep tabs on what they’re doing. One day, during a lecture, she glanced at the camera to see what was going on at home.
What she saw completely surprised her. For a second, it even shocked her. But once she realized what was going on, she couldn’t help but laugh.
She decided to share the moment with her TikTok followers on her account @bryanna_simons.
“In class checking in on my dog, meanwhile he is fighting for his life,” she wrote in the video, showing Colt tangled in a blanket, struggling to get free. At one point, he even bumped into the wall.
Thankfully, it all worked out in the end. Colt finally freed his head and took a defensive pose, as if he had just been under attack.
Moments later, he seemed to understand it was the blanket that had “attacked” him. After that, he calmed down and went right back to playing with Turbo like nothing had happened.
“He is the definition of chaos,” Bryanna captioned the video.
Hilarious Responses Followed
Bryanna figured the video would get some attention, but she didn’t expect it to go quite this far.
Viewers left tons of comments, many of them hilarious. Here are some of the most memorable ones.

“Excuse me I have to leave class bc my dog is stuck in a blanket!” one user jokingly wrote.
“The way he turned and looked at the blanket like what was that for 🤣” another added.
The third quipped: “Sometimes I think it’s better to not see what they’re doing while we’re gone 😂😂”
Bryanna replied to that last one with, “So true 😅.”
