A little kindness goes a long way. You never really know when a small deed can change your life completely. Just trying to change the world with small acts of kindness is more than enough.
If we all tried to act in this way, then this world would truly be a better place. I believe that this kindness starts with animals.
You could tell a lot about what a person is like by how they treat animals, even if they are wild animals.
This woman from Kentucky is a good example of someone who tries their best to make a difference. She spotted a moving plastic bag, so she went to investigate it and was shocked by what she discovered inside.
It Was A Skunk

After approaching the black plastic bag, the woman quickly reacted and unfolded the bag only to realize that a skunk had been trapped inside.
The poor animal has been probably losing oxygen for a while and likely wouldn’t even make it if this kind woman hadn’t helped him.
After saving the wild animal, the woman called Second Chances Wildlife Center (SCWC) in Kentucky, and they quickly responded.
A SCWC volunteer came and assessed the situation. The volunteer was suspicious about how this skunk ended up trapped in the bag, so they went to ask around.

As it turned out, a couple from the neighborhood saw the skunk enter their home a few times through the garage door, which angered them.
Then, they caught him in a trap and placed him in the black bag to prevent him from escaping. This was just really cruel.
The poor animal didn’t even understand what he did wrong, and he was being condemned like this. If it wasn’t for the kind woman who found him, the skunk would perish.
Proper Way To Deal With Wildlife

SCWC volunteers quickly explained to the couple that what they did was completely wrong and that there was a proper way to deal with wildlife.
All they had to do was remove the trash or food so they didn’t have access to it, or they could call wildlife experts for advice.
Either way, what they did was completely wrong. The SCWC volunteer took the skunk to their organization where they examined him.
As it turned out, he was healthy, so he would be released into the wild soon. In the meantime, they let him rest and relax in an outdoor enclosure.
He even had some new roommates in his enclosure and it was clear that they made him very happy. This will help him because he won’t have to be lonely during his stay.
The rescuers will try their best to get him back to the wild as soon as possible, but it might take a few days. In the meantime, the skunk can enjoy his stay with people who treat him very well.
