You might not know this, but if you’re not careful enough, your dog could completely forget what breed they are! Or could they?
If Atlas, a pampered Husky from Long Island, New York, could talk, I bet he would definitely agree with this statement.
This pup, who’s all about being comfy and chill, recently had everyone rolling in the aisles when his mom caught him “stunned and in disbelief.”
The reason?
Well, it turns out Atlas had just realized that his breed is highly working-oriented, and, according to the video, he couldn’t hide his shock!
So Now I Have To Work?
Just like any other beloved family dog, Atlas is the sweetheart of his own family. Sometimes, it feels like he’s just a tiny lap dog, thanks to his hauntingly adorable fondness for cuddles.
Apparently, Atlas wasn’t aware of the fact that Huskies are, in fact, a working breed, until Jessica and Tom, a couple from New York, uncovered “the shocking truth.”
One night, they were watching a movie involving a group of Husky sled dogs running through the blizzard in Antarctica, when Atlas joined them.
Typically, he pays attention for about five minutes before he falls asleep, but this time it was different. As soon as he saw his fellow breed on the screen, struggling to survive, Atlas made a hilarious facial expression.
His eyes were wide-open and his eyebrows raised, as if he had just discovered the ultimate Husky truth: that they are hard workers and not family cuddle bugs!
He then continues to give his mom a look of disbelief, before resting his head again on the pillow. Jessica, who caught the entire situation on camera, couldn’t stop laughing! She shared Atlas’ video on TikTok, not knowing how soon his “shocking revelation” would turn into a real sensation.
“My dog realizing for the first time that some Huskies have to WORK for a living,” the video caption reads.
In a matter of days, Atlas’ reaction was loved and adored by thousands of people all over the world.
“Dude his face expression tells me he definitely understood that,” one commenter joked.

Still A Baby
The truth is, when he’s not making the entire internet laugh, Atlas is just a happy-go-lucky pup who can’t get enough attention.
He’s a natural cuddler who loves his mom and dad, and he wouldn’t trade his life for anything.
“My favorite place in the world is in between Mom and Dad.. I don’t even let them hug without me,” his owners state in another post.
Sure, just like his Husky relatives, Atlas is a social butterfly and loves spending time outdoors. Despite his reaction to a movie, he loves snow and isn’t exactly a lazy bug.
Still, his all-time favorite spot is next to his owners, and his recent discovery about being a working breed is just conceptual. He doesn’t have anything to do with it. No, sir!
