Sometimes, no matter how much effort you put in, it still isn’t enough to get noticed. And other times? You barely lift a paw and win people over just by being yourself.
Tink falls squarely into the second category.
This tiny, no-nonsense Chihuahua grandma didn’t need to try hard to become a star. The moment she showed up at the shelter, she captured everyone’s attention, despite doing absolutely nothing to be charming.
She simply existed… with quirks, sass, and a fierce sense of independence. And somehow, she’s completely lovable!
A Chihuahua The Size Of A Hamster
When Tink arrived at Skiatook Paws and Claws Animal Rescue in Oklahoma, staff were stunned by how tiny she was—barely larger than a hamster. With not a single tooth in her mouth and a fragile little body, she still had more personality than most dogs ten times her size.
She also came with a heart murmur and a bold spirit to match.
“This is Tink. She is 9 years old. She has no teeth. She has a heart murmur. And she is an absolute menace,” the Oklahoma rescue wrote on Instagram.
Though just nine years old, Tink carried the attitude of a seasoned queen bee.
“Tink has some spicy spunkiness and we love to see it,” her rescuers added.
She wasn’t shy about letting people know who she was, and what she wanted. Spoiler: it wasn’t cuddles.
Tink wasn’t interested in being anyone’s lap companion, and certainly not one to snooze the day away on the couch with a blanket. Nope. This senior lady preferred her space—and wasn’t afraid to demand it.
Even now, in foster care, Tink makes it crystal clear: she values her boundaries.

Tink isn’t the type to follow her humans around or seek constant attention. She’s more into peacefully coexisting with her caregivers—on her own terms.
She likes a quiet space, minimal fuss, and a healthy dose of solitude… just like a grumpy grandma who enjoys her tea and silence.
But instead of being ignored for her tough demeanor, she’s actually admired.
Grumpy? Yes. Loved? Absolutely.

The moment Tink’s story hit social media—with no filters, no embellishments, and all her quirks laid bare—people were hooked. Her photos and honest personality description lit up the internet, and before long, the applications came rolling in.
Over 200 people applied to adopt this feisty little girl.
“She is still very sus. She still enjoys the presence of no one. We have received 204 apps for her and will choose a good home after her cardiac work up at the vet,” the rescue concluded.

For now, Tink will stay in foster care while her health is closely monitored. Vets recently discovered she has an enlarged heart and an embolism, both of which require careful treatment and medical support.
Once she’s medically cleared, Tink will be ready to start a brand-new chapter with a family that understands her quirks and respects her space.
And in return? You can bet this little lady will bring a whole lot of spice and personality into their lives.
