For Julia Fraticelli, a girl from New Jersey, her childhood dream came true when she found Apricot on the streets. She never imagined that this tiny, fragile puppy would grow into a real-life Bambi.

As special and unique-looking as she is, Apricot’s early life was far from easy. Her story is truly heartbreaking.
When Julia Fraticelli found her in New Jersey months ago as a tiny puppy, Apricot was in rough shape. She was starving, covered in worms, and struggling to survive on the streets, looking nothing like the vibrant little pup she would soon become.
Julia could not leave her in such a desperate state. She scooped up the little pup and began nursing her back to health.
“8 months ago: off the side of the road, filled with worms, hadn’t eaten in days, a few days left to live. Now: healthy, happy, cuddles, full life ahead of her to live,” Julia wrote on TikTok.
Within weeks, Apricot adjusted to her new home, beginning a brand-new chapter with Julia and her family. She quickly proved she could thrive and blend into her loving home.
Apricot’s striking, Bambi-like appearance caught the attention of thousands online. Her TikTok videos went viral, with fans unable to resist her unique look.
Many insisted she should be called Bambi.
“If u didn’t call her deer or Bambi then you missed out,” one commenter wrote.

Julia confirmed that Apricot’s middle name is indeed Bambi, cementing her resemblance to the Disney character.
