Imagine you find an animal that is in need of your help, and you do your best to provide it. You quickly realize it’s a turtle who got lost.
So, naturally, you go to take it back to the lake where it can find its way. However, something happens that you didn’t expect.
As you let the turtle go, you hear cries coming from a nearby area. You investigate the noise only to find yourself shocked by what you see.
This is what happened to a family from Florida who came across four kittens who desperately needed their help, so they reacted quickly.
Are They Going To Be Okay?
When Kacee Nicole and her boyfriend helped the turtle, they immediately turned to help the kittens who were just left there near the lake.
The four babies emerged from the bush and just walked directly to their rescuers. They did not seem afraid of them at all.
In fact, they were really friendly, which was a good sign. The family went to search for their mom, but they were unsuccessful.
Now that they had four kittens, they examined them only to realize that they were quite skinny. This could mean a few things.
First, it could mean that they hadn’t seen their mom in a while, so they couldn’t feed, or their mom just couldn’t help them as she was also starving.
Either way, they were safe now, and these kind people have taken them in and given them a new chance at life.
They Are Doing A Lot Better
Now that this kind woman from Florida is caring for these four kittens, Kacee is making sure that they get absolutely everything that they need.
Shortly after she took them in, she posted a short clip of the entire event on her TikTok profile, and it’s just shocking.
One person commented: “They saw you save the turtle, had a quick meeting and decided to come out and be saved too.”
I mean, the kittens realized afterward that the humans are actually nice, and therefore, need to become their owners. It’s as simple as that.
Another person said: “I think I’d immediately cry. That’s gotta be a positive sign for you guys. AND they’re black kittens. A bad person could have grabbed them up and harmed them due to superstitions/ being evil.”
Yeah, they were extremely fortunate to have been found by such amazing people. I can’t imagine how things would have turned out if they hadn’t walked out of the bush.
Lastly, somebody commented: “So the turtle was an offering to the cat distribution system?”
See, now that makes some sense. In a way, it showed the system that these were people who could be trusted to care for these beautiful furry babies.
All jokes aside, it’s pretty wholesome to see how quickly they embraced these kittens, and I am so glad that all four of them have a future together with Kacee.
