Heartbreak As Rescuers Learn The Reason Why A Tennessee Dog Carried Her 7 Puppies To A Neighbor’s House

Heartbreak As Rescuers Learn The Reason Why A Tennessee Dog Carried Her 7 Puppies To A Neighbor’s House

When a resident in Tennessee noticed that their neighbor didn’t take proper care of their dogs, they felt compelled to help them.

The good human couldn’t stand watching the dogs endure hunger so they started feeding them and showing them kindness.

As time passed, the dogs relied on the help of the good neighbor and regularly came to eat at their home.

One day, the kind-hearted resident noticed that the female dog started bringing her puppies one by one and leaving them at their doorstep.

At first, they couldn’t understand the reason why the mama dog brought three of her babies to their home and left them there but once the truth was revealed, everyone felt heartbroken.

The Harrowing Reason Is Revealed

The mama dog continued visiting the neighbor who fed her but she didn’t take her babies with her.

The kind person contacted the local shelter and they brought the three pups into their care.

Both the neighbor and the shelter staff agreed that the mama dog considered her neighbor’s home a safe place for her puppies, which was why she left them at their doorstep.

The doggo wanted to make sure the puppies survived.

Since the neighbor fed the doggo and showed her kindness, she believed that her kids would be well taken care of. She gave her babies up so that they would have a better life.

Dawn and Brett, a wonderful couple, collected the three puppies from the shelter and brought them to their home in order to foster them.

Thanks to their loving foster parents, the furbabies settled in quickly and started thriving.

Meanwhile, the mama dog carried four more furbabies to her neighbor’s home. These puppies were also taken to Dawn and Brett’s home.

A New Beginning For The Puppies

Shultz’s Guest House, a rescue in Dedham, Massachusetts, stepped in to help, determined to help the seven puppies find forever families.

The puppies, who were believed to be mostly Great Pyrenees, were adorable, fluffy, and affectionate.

“Now 12 weeks old, they’re playful, cuddly, a little sassy, and full of charm. They love people, would do well with respectful kids and are young enough to learn to live well with other animals,” Shultz’s Guest House wrote on Instagram.

It comes as no surprise that all seven puppies quickly stole the hearts of the wonderful humans who adopted them.

Unfortunately, the puppies’ mom and dad are still with their original owner, who doesn’t take care of them and refuses to surrender them.

Since the dogs are feral, it’s believed that they wouldn’t thrive as household pets.

I hope that their owner will surrender them and that their situation will change for the better soon. They deserve to live a happy life.
