Coincidences don’t exist and today’s story proves it once again!
While Franco Blanco and his wife were driving on a crowded Florida interstate, he saw a mysterious little ball of fluff roll into his lane.
In that instant, Blanco knew exactly what it was. As most other drivers swerved and sped away, he slammed on the brakes and rushed to help.
The kind man hopped out of his car near the median, and collected the fluffy ball. Moments later, he returned breathless, carrying a small black kitten in his arms.
A Miracle
Blanco and his wife, who happen to run Homeless Kitty Haven, a cat rescue in South Florida, breathed a sigh of relief when they realized that the kitten was unharmed.
“He’s not hurt. It’s a miracle,” Blanco said in a video of the rescue.
It’s a mystery how the kitten ended up on a busy highway. It’s possible that he rode unnoticed in the car’s wheel well or perhaps someone heartlessly dumped him there without the slightest concern for his life. Regardless of what happened, the kitten was now safe.
Blanco and his wife drove him to the vet where he underwent a thorough medical checkup.
Meanwhile, the couple waited, hoping that their initial impression was true.
Both exhaled deeply when the vet confirmed that the little kitten was alright. He didn’t have a single scratch.
The moment Blanco and his wife first saw the kitten, they knew that they would keep him forever. They named him Lucky Highway Kitten and promised to make him happy.
“We decided we were going to keep him right away, and he was going to come home with us. The fact that it was us that happened to be there, it’s an absolute blessing,” Blanco told The Dodo.
They considered themselves lucky to have found him on the highway that day and couldn’t picture their lives without him by their side.
A Forever Home All Pets Deserve
Lucky Highway Miracles settled into his new home right away. Thanks to the impeccable care and immense love, he transformed into a happy and confident cat.
The kitten, who was once a ball of fluff on the highway, now lives his best life.
His parents are happy with the transformation that Lucky Highway Miracles made in a short time.
