Keke loves nothing more than a relaxed stroll through Hudson Yards. But one day, those peaceful walks nearly turned into a wild adventure — quite literally!
This pint-sized, fluffy Pomeranian was happily taking in the views when one of New York City’s infamous wind tunnels decided to make an appearance, giving the long-coated pup an unexpected “blow-dry” session. Unlike a spa day, however, Keke wasn’t exactly thrilled about this one!
A sudden blast of wind almost lifted him right off the ground, but thankfully, his mom had him securely on a leash, avoiding what could have been a much scarier outcome.
The Video That Had Everyone Laughing
Every dog parent enjoys taking their pup for a walk, right? For Daisy, strolling through New York City with her three-year-old Pomeranian, Keke, is always special. He’s the perfect walking buddy.
On this particular day, the two were enjoying themselves near Hudson Yards when they were caught in one of the city’s well-known gusty “wind tunnel” moments.
In the blink of an eye, Keke’s happy trot turned into a battle to stay grounded.
In a now-viral Instagram video, the tiny five-pound pooch can be seen “fighting” the strong gusts, hopping and bouncing around as he tries not to get carried away.
“I almost lost my Pomeranian this weekend to a wind tunnel in NYC,” Daisy wrote alongside the clip.
Thankfully, his mom had a firm hold on his leash, and soon enough, Keke was scooped into her lap, safe and sound.
The video quickly spread across Instagram, with people around the world finding humor in Keke’s windy misadventure.
“Just a little dust bunny blowing in the breeze,” one person commented.
Another joked, “The small dog alert on the weather forecast was right then.”
One dog owner even shared their own relatable experience: “Omg happened to me too. The wind just came out of nowhere and Teddy was literally up in the air in his leash looking like a kite. Had to bring him back inside immediately.”
