Dogs are truly amazing animals. They have been our best friends for many thousands of years, and that is still true even today.
I am always amazed by their intelligence and how often they can accomplish things that we don’t think are possible. Though, that is our own fault for underestimating them.
They always have our backs and are immediately there when we need them the most. It’s really hard for anyone to compete with the love and empathy they have for everyone.
In this story, we will talk about a sweet dog who was brave enough to stop a stranger’s car and ask him to help his owner who had just suffered a seizure on the road.
A Tragic Event
When Haley Moore was walking with her dog, Clover, it was a very ordinary day. They were just enjoying themselves but then something happened.
Hayley suffered a seizure and collapsed on the pavement near her. Clover started panicking as he did not know what to do.
He noticed a car zipping by them without even glancing as to what was going on. The dog was not fast enough to see this one, but he got an idea.
Clover was going to try and seek help from other people by trying to get them to stop their car and help Hayley.
However, there was another problem. His leash handle was in Hayley’s hand who was still holding it.
Clover did his best to free his leash from her hand so that he could help her. After he managed to do it, he immediately turned his eyes to see if anyone was coming.
A Successful Intervention
The moment he saw another car approaching, he immediately stood in the middle of the road and refused to budge until the person stopped.
And, it worked. The driver noticed the dog first, and then quickly realized why he was trying to stop him right there.
He got out of the vehicle immediately and tried to help Hayley. He called 9-1-1 and an ambulance was there in no time. They helped move Hayley, and she was on her way to the hospital.
Luckily for them, everything was going to be okay. Hayley woke up during her drive and was very confused because she didn’t remember what had happened.
However, after she was told about what Clover did for her, she couldn’t be more grateful to her best friend for helping save her life.
His story went viral on the internet and Clover was praised as a brave hero by everyone who witnessed this event.
