I think it’s safe to say that every dog in this world probably has someone in their life whom they love even more than they love their owner.
It’s hard to explain this affection. You know they care about you and love you more than anything in the world, but then there is that one other person they can’t stop obsessing over.
This doesn’t necessarily apply to all dogs, but almost every pup I have seen has a person like this in their life. And I think that is just really wholesome.
For this dog from Utah, that person is her grandma. Clementine’s owner is very aware that her dog likes to visit her grandma, so she does something surprising.
The Most Heartwarming Reaction

When Lee first adopted her beautiful dog, named Clementine, she had no idea what kind of effect this pup would have on other people.
Apparently, she is quite a charmer and enjoys playing and hanging out with just about anybody, but there are people she cares about more than others.
In Clementine’s case, that would be Lee’s grandma. Every once in a while, they go to visit her, and this sweet dog changes completely.

She is overjoyed at the very idea, so whenever Lee mentions it to Clementine, this pup starts jumping and running around.
Even though the visits aren’t exactly frequent, Clementine still remembers the path to her grandma’s house and her realization that they are going to her house is priceless.
It’s like she can’t hold in her happiness. She starts stomping with her feet in the car and then turns around in the seat.
The Special Friendship

As soon as the car door opens, Clementine just bolts out of the car at light speed and dashes to her grandma in a second to hug her.
The two of them are best friends and Clementine always snuggles with her grandma or just follows her around whenever she does anything.
Lee’s mom is also always excited to see her beautiful furry friend and their friendship is just something truly special.

The only sad thing about this is that Lee eventually has to go back to her home in Utah and Clementine is never happy knowing that she won’t be able to see grandma for a while.
However, Lee can always think about those special moments, and Clementine can rejoice because she will get a chance to come back again.
Witnessing this was something truly amazing, and it once again reminds us that even our dogs have favorites and it’s usually not us, but someone close to us. It’s always wholesome to see.
