“You think you know someone…” That realization can feel pretty dramatic when you are sure you have brought home the dog you always pictured, only to discover later that the truth has a little twist.
That is exactly what happened to Annalise, a dog owner from Minnesota who adopted a gorgeous pup named Rinka. She believed she was bringing an Irish Setter into her home, and she could not wait to see her puppy grow into the tall, graceful dog she had admired for so long.

“When we brought you home and didn’t know you were a field Irish setter for the first year and thought we had somehow forever stunted your growth,” the video text reads.

“I genuinely believed that I had done something wrong because she wasn’t like all of the giant Irish Setters I saw everywhere,” Annalise wrote in the video description.
