Uncovering The Secret Behind His Escape
Since adopting her puppy in Arizona, TikTok user @abbarosee had been baffled by one recurring mystery: how was her little dog constantly escaping his kennel?
The enclosure had tall sides and appeared secure. Though the top was open, her pup wasn’t nearly big enough to jump out on his own.
Determined to get to the bottom of it, she set up a pet camera to monitor his behavior and catch him in the act.
It didn’t take long for the curious pup to begin his escape attempt. First, he tried climbing the sides, but quickly realized that wouldn’t work. Refusing to give up, he began pushing his plush toys toward the edge, stacking them like steps.
With his improvised staircase in place, he climbed onto the pile and reached toward the top of the kennel. But once he got that far, he ran out of steam. His tiny legs couldn’t quite lift him over the final hurdle.
Fortunately, his mom was watching the whole thing unfold on camera. Seeing him struggle, she rushed over, picked him up, and showered him with affection.
He hadn’t escaped the way he planned, but he still got exactly what he wanted: time with his favorite person.
