When a kind-hearted woman stumbled upon a dog on the street in Las Vegas, she lent him a helping hand and took him home.
She suspected that he was lost and wanted to help him find his owners.
The doggo was kind and gentle toward his rescuer, hopeful that he would find his way back home.
He missed his family and longed to throw himself into their arms and feel loved again.
Lost And Found
The kind woman posted photos of the lost dog on Facebook, hoping that his owners would see them and contact her.
Luckily, a few days later, the dog’s forever mom came across the Facebook post and immediately reached out to his rescuer.
Overjoyed that her baby was finally found, she sent photos of the dog to confirm she was his rightful owner.
The woman also revealed to his rescuer that the dog’s name was Moo Moo.
The rescuer called the dog by his real name, filmed his reaction, and shared it on TikTok.
“Posted him and held on to him for a few days, found his owners from a Facebook post, and this is him losing it after calling him by his real name,” she wrote in the caption.
Once he heard the woman call his name, Moo Moo began barking and wagging his tail with excitement. He also let out a series of howls, making it clear he recognized his name.
After hearing his real name for the first time in days, Moo Moo felt more hopeful that he would soon return to his beloved owner.
Moo Moo’s Reunion With His Family
His rescuer was over the moon because the dog’s story would have a happy ending.
Ever since she rescued the doggo, she could tell how much he missed his forever mom.
“Every time I would walk him, he would go to the back gate, searching for his owner.”
After watching the heartwarming video, TikTok users couldn’t hold back their tears.
“…I lost my dog for about eight months and I thought I’ll never [find] her again, my dad saw her one day and called her name, she immediately went to him. Imagine not hearing your name for eight months,” one user commented.
Everyone agreed that Moo Moo’s ecstatic reaction upon hearing his name was proof of how loved he was at home.
The day Moo Moo and his family were reunited was truly special.
When they arrived to pick him up, they called out his name. Once Moo Moo heard their voices, he rushed down the stairs, wagging his tail furiously.
