Kiki Cupcake wasn’t asking for much in order to be happy. Only a home where she could cuddle with her humans and let them know how much she loves them.
Her wish was a common one, and yet it seemed unattainable because her owners weren’t her real family. They heartlessly used Kiki Cupcake for breeding, and one day, they just decided to dump her and her puppy to Palmdale Animal Care Center.

Kiki Cupcake Needs A Helping Hand
When the rescuers at Shy Club Rescue in Los Angeles, California, heard about Kiki Cupcake, their hearts broke and they wished to help her.
They promised to pull her from the shelter if they found a foster.
The moment Gretchen, their giant-hearted supporter and foster parent, learned Kiki Cupcake needed a foster, she volunteered to take her home and immediately contacted the shelter.
Gretchen’s husband and the staff at Shy Club Rescue picked Kiki Cupcake from the shelter and brought to her foster home.
Once the doggo decompressed and realized that she was safe, she transformed completely and showed her affectionate disposition.
Kiki Cupcake loved her foster mom and wanted to be by her side always. She felt grateful because she lived with loving humans who gave her what her heart craved the most – love.
When Gretchen cuddled her, the doggo would melt with love and ask for cuddles.
“She’ll be right at your feet. She likes to run underneath of your feet so that she gets her own back rubs. If you pet her, she slow motion rolls to the ground and offers her belly,” Gretchen told GeoBeats Animals.
Hoping To Get A Second Shot At Happiness
Her foster mom describes Kiki Cupcake as a half couch potato. The doggo doesn’t like exercising but agrees to go on walks with Gretchen every day, although she would prefer to stay at home.
Her foster parents were curious to know what her breed is, so they ordered a DNA test.
“From the moment we first saw Kiki Cupcake we wondered “what is she made of?” She is like no combination we have ever seen…She’s got the craziest forehead wrinkles and the thickest neck wrinkles. Short stubby legs and feet too small for her body. And she’s thicccccc!” Gretchen wrote on Instagram.
Due to her unique appearance and piercing blue eyes, Kiki Cupcake attracts a lot of attention on the streets and many people stop to meet her.
Whatever breed she is, Kiki Cupcake is an amazing dog who is full of love. She can’t wait to meet her forever family and start the best chapter of her life.
