As someone who cares deeply about animals, it always makes me feel bad to see the negative effect we tend to have on them sometimes.
Now, I am not going to say that all of us harm animals. There are certainly people who do, but there are also those who care and work tirelessly to help them.
Those people should serve as an example for all of us because they show how action in helping out animals can lead to a better life.
Today, we will talk about a couple from South Carolina who saw something furry next to a road, so they immediately stopped what they were doing and rushed to check it out.
It’s A Small Kitten
When the couple approached a puddle, they saw a kitten just lying in it. They noticed how other cars were driving by it unassumingly because they didn’t see what was inside.
The small kitten was scared and confused. He didn’t know if these people meant well, but he let them help out anyway.
They took the small kitten and placed her in their vehicle. Considering that they frequently rescue cats, this was a lucky day for this small kitten.
They decided to name him Jaxson, to honor the memory of their cat who crossed the rainbow bridge not too long ago.
Shortly after that, the kitten was in her new home and the kind couple helped her get dry and warm. After realizing that he was safe, Jaxson’s true personality was visible for all to see.
The couple was surprised by his outgoing personality, as he was always curious and liked to explore and interact with other cats.
Everything Changed For Jaxson
Now that Jaxson has settled in a bit, his new parents decided to take him to a veterinarian clinic where they gave him a clean bill of health.
He didn’t have any health problems, and that was a relief for this couple from South Carolina. Shortly after that, they officially adopted Jaxson and he now belongs with them.
They also worked hard on training him, and were surprised by how quickly he picked up on things. He is a very smart kitten.
In their TikTok post, the couple wrote: “Jaxson aka Puddles has been with us for 1 full week now. He knows what the word treats mean[s], he is potty trained and he will play all day if you let him.”
He is growing up and changing with every passing day. His confidence is now sky high, and that’s so wonderful to see.
Considering what he went through so early in his life, it’s really beautiful to see how his life changed in a positive way in such a short time.
