Oliver and Savannah once had it all, a great home and their mom who adored them. They were always together and they thought that they would never be separated.
Sadly, Oliver and Savannah’s mom passed away and the dogs’ lives turned upside down.
After losing their beloved mom, the fifteen-year-old dogs sought comfort in each other, trying to ease their heartbreak.
They were admitted to Frosted Faces Foundation, a non-profit organization located in Ramona, California, dedicated to rescuing senior dogs.
The shelter life was new to Oliver and Savannah, but they were grateful because at least they had each other.
The senior dogs hoped that they would spend their golden years next to each other.
The Life In A Foster Home

The staff could tell that Oliver and Savannah were bonded. The senior duo loved cuddling and spending time together.
Oliver and Savannah were placed in foster homes where they received the love that they needed. Once they felt safe, they revealed their sweet dispositions, capturing the hearts of the staff and their fosters.
The staff describes Oliver as an affectionate and cheerful dog who seems far younger than he really is. He is a big fan of stand-up paddleboarding and car rides.
Right now, he is staying at a temporary foster home through Frosted Faces’ “Frosted Fling” program, while Savannah has gone back to her former foster home.
Both dogs are flourishing in their foster homes.

Oliver loves people and he gets along with both cats and dogs.
Savannah’s foster mom only has words of praise for her. The doggo is incredibly sweet and has a peaceful disposition.
Although she is deaf and blind, she is highly adaptable. She quickly learned her way around her foster home and the yard.
Savannah seeks affection and loves being held. She has an endearing way of asking her foster mom to pick her up. She approaches her and gently boops her leg. The sweet girl loves sleeping with her mom in her bed.
Hoping To Find A Loving Forever Home

Recently, a delightful video of Oliver and Savannah was shared by @peakepups on TikTok and it stole the hearts of everyone who saw it.
The senior dogs could be seen sleeping next to each other.
Although the shelter would love Oliver and Savannah to be adopted together, they think that the most important thing is to find them a loving home even if it means separating them.

The California shelter waived the adoption fee for this lovely duo and will cover all veterinary care for life.
The best friends deserve to spend their golden years in a loving home.
We all hope that someone will soon fall in love with them and give them the endless love they wish for.
