For dogs living on the streets, sticking together is the closest thing to family.
No siblings. No safe place to hide. Nothing that even feels like home. The only comfort is your best friend, the one who means everything. That is why it is heartbreaking when strays are split apart during rescue missions.
This time, things turned out differently.
When longtime rescuer Suzette Hall from Southern California and her friend Mary got a call about three abandoned dogs in an alley, they rushed to the spot with one mission: keep them all together.
Clinging Together For Comfort On The Streets

A woman named Mysi Anne couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw three little dogs in an alley near her California home. They were terrified of people, and since they appeared out of nowhere, it was easy to guess someone had dumped them.
“Three little babies dumped in an alley. They literally stuck together like glue. They only had each other,” Hall wrote on Facebook.
The dogs clearly would not survive much longer on their own. Sticking together helped, but they needed help fast. Mysi reached out to Hall, the founder of Logan’s Legacy, who came with Mary to rescue them.

Hall only had one humane trap and expected a long, hard process because the dogs were so frightened. She was wrong.
“They were scared and would run if you tried to get them. I only had one trap with me because my other one got stolen. So one by one we got them safe. Each one wanted to be with the other ones,” Hall added.
As soon as the trap was set, the dogs started going in one by one.
There were two little girls and one boy, all extremely hungry. The smell of hot dogs inside the trap was enough to earn their trust.
This time, their trust paid off. After struggling on the streets for who knows how long, they finally had safety and care.
Hall and Mary gently loaded them into the car and drove toward a new beginning.
A Safe Haven And A Fresh Start

By the end of the day, the sight of these three “street siblings” curled up together was priceless. They were finally safe and could sleep without fear.
“They literally just snuggled up to each other, just like glue. Sweet little babies won’t have to stay in that alley ever again,” Hall concluded.
After their first checkup at the vet, there was only one thing left for these strong little pups: finding forever homes.
After everything they endured, there is no doubt they deserve a place filled with love, laughter, and endless playtime.
