They had just started dating, and the boyfriend was still completely new to the world of animal rescue.
But when they received word about a dog in desperate need of help, they didn’t hesitate to step up.
They gathered their supplies and headed out into the dark, unsure of exactly what they would find in Colorado.
Out In The Middle Of Nowhere
The rescue location was far off the beaten path.
They found themselves out in the middle of nowhere, navigating a steep cliff in the middle of a dense, jungle-like environment.
It was an incredibly isolating place for a dog to be stranded.
As they searched the area, a figure finally emerged from the shadows.
A Heartbreaking Sight
The dog approached his rescuers incredibly slowly.
He looked up at them with big, wide, terrified eyes, unsure if these new humans were there to help or hurt him.
