Leaving home does not always quiet the bond people feel with their pets. When that attachment runs deep, it is hard not to wonder what they are doing while you are away.
That is why pet cameras have become such a comfort. Most days, they offer a sweet little peek into ordinary pet life, which is usually exactly what owners hope to see.
Every so often, though, the camera catches something much stranger. For one law student in Massachusetts, a quick check during class turned into a moment she never expected.
She looked at the screen thinking she might see something normal. Instead, what appeared in front of her made her stop and stare.
As she kept watching, the situation started making sense. What first looked alarming soon turned into something completely ridiculous and impossible not to laugh at.
Caught In A Blanket Battle

Bryanna Simons, a law student based in Connecticut, shares her home with a lively Border Collie named Colt and a cat named Turbo. Given Colt’s breed, his boundless energy is no surprise and Turbo manages to keep pace.
To keep an eye on their antics, Bryanna regularly checks her pet cam while she’s away. One day, during a lecture, she glanced at the feed and was taken aback.
For a moment, she was genuinely shocked. But once she understood what was happening, she couldn’t stop laughing.
She posted the footage to her TikTok account @bryanna_simons.
“In class checking in on my dog, meanwhile he is fighting for his life,” she captioned the clip, which showed Colt tangled in a blanket, struggling to escape. At one point, he even bumped into the wall.
Eventually, Colt managed to free his head and struck a defensive pose, as if he’d just survived an ambush.
Moments later, he seemed to realize the “enemy” was the blanket itself. With the drama behind him, he resumed playing with Turbo as if nothing had happened.
Bryanna summed it up perfectly: “He is the definition of chaos.”
Viewers Couldn’t Stop Laughing
Bryanna expected the video might get a few laughs, but she didn’t anticipate the flood of reactions that followed.
Commenters chimed in with their own takes, and many were hilarious.

“Excuse me I have to leave class bc my dog is stuck in a blanket!” one user jokingly wrote.
“The way he turned and looked at the blanket like what was that for 🤣” another added.
The third quipped: “Sometimes I think it’s better to not see what they’re doing while we’re gone 😂😂”
Bryanna replied to that last one with, “So true 😅.”
