It was clear from the start that Bauer had missed his dad, even after only a single day apart.
Corey Moriarty, Bauer’s devoted owner, stood by the door, ready to greet his pup and hear all about his first day.

The second Bauer spotted Corey, he bolted across the room, tail wagging furiously, and leapt into his dad’s arms, showering him with nonstop kisses. It was as if he was saying, “Where have you been all day?!”
