This little guy has a flair for theatrics, and somehow, that only makes him more lovable. Louie does not do messy, over-the-top chaos. His drama is refined, controlled, and very much giving veteran soap-opera star who knows exactly when the camera is on him.
His latest performance sent his owner straight to the vet, only for her to realize she had once again been completely fooled by his act.
Louie Pulls Off Another Act
Louie was at it once more.
Michele Kidd, his owner, had planned a car ride with her pup. As they prepared to leave, Louie suddenly began limping, holding one paw in the air.
Michele’s heart sank. Convinced he was hurt, she dropped everything and rushed him to the vet.
What unfolded next was nothing she expected.
After a thorough exam that cost $500, the vet delivered surprising news. Louie wasn’t injured at all.
The raised paw was pure theatrics, a clever ploy to avoid the car ride. He had staged the entire act.
“Off to the vet to check out his broken foot. $500 later… to find out it’s not broken. He just doesn’t like car rides,” Michele wrote in the post.
Relieved that Louie was perfectly fine, Michele shared the story on TikTok. She never imagined the clip would explode in popularity.
Viewers quickly joined in, sharing their own tales of dramatic dogs.
One person commented: “I once paid £80 to discover my dog couldn’t walk because he had a leaf stuck on his paw.”
“OMG…almost same happened with us. My dog was holding her paw like that, but come to find out, it was caught on her collar,” another added.
