West Virginia Family Learns Their Dog Was Not Just Hungry But Surprisingly Good At Covering His Tracks

Dogs win us over not just with their loyalty and sweet nature, but with all the hilarious little quirks that make each one memorable.

Just like people, they have their own routines, and sometimes those routines involve getting a bit sneaky when they think nobody is paying attention.

One cheeky Dalmatian in West Virginia recently showed exactly how true that is when he pulled off a silent kitchen heist.

His family may not have found it funny right away, but the video did not take long to charm thousands of people online. With a face like his, it was pretty hard for anyone to stay upset for long.

Marshall, a five-year-old Dalmatian, lives in West Virginia with his owner, Graham Godwin, along with Graham’s wife and several other dogs.

Marshall is usually well behaved, but every now and then temptation wins.

One afternoon, the smell of food drifting from the kitchen caught his attention and curiosity took over.

He peeked around the corner and saw his mom cooking, unaware of what was happening behind her. On the counter sat a plate of Bob Evans mac and cheese, prepared as his dad’s lunch.

Marshall checked a few times to make sure the coast was clear. Once convinced, he slipped into the kitchen, stood up on his hind legs, and helped himself to the cheesy meal.

Meanwhile, the family’s other dog remained motionless, as if refusing to get involved.

Marshall strutted away feeling quite accomplished. What he did not know was that a security camera had captured every second.

When his owners reviewed the footage, they knew they had to share it.

The Internet Cannot Stop Laughing

Instead of being upset, Marshall’s family found the entire situation hilarious, especially his careful planning and how completely unnoticed he was.

Once posted to TikTok, the video spread quickly, drawing endless laughter and comments.
