“This sweet baby boy was beside himself, running the streets all alone. [H]e wanted to be held and told everything would be OK,” Stray Rescue of St. Louis wrote on Facebook.
Every mile of the ride was filled with cuddles, cementing an instant bond between them.
“[We] love him already,” the rescue added.
Bowie seemed to sense that his life was pivoting toward something wonderful.
After a thorough health check confirmed he was healthy, the rescue prepared to place him in a foster home where he could rest, recover, and feel secure.
It wasn’t long before a caring family stepped forward.
The day Bowie left for his foster home, his happiness was unmistakable. His smile spoke volumes: he knew he was finally protected and cherished.
A Foster Life Full of Love
Bowie’s foster family welcomed him with open hearts. Their resident dog, Ramone, became his instant companion, and the two quickly bonded.
