Theo, a Siberian Husky, joined his forever family in California when he was still just a puppy. From the very beginning, his owners, Ingelson and her husband, surrounded him with love and made sure he always felt like he belonged.
Theo grew into a strong, playful adult dog and developed a close bond with his young human brother. The two became the best of friends, sharing their days and little adventures side by side.
Unlike many Huskies, who are known for being loud and full of commentary, Theo was calm and unusually quiet. He was happiest with his daily walks, naps on the couch, and a steady routine that never caused much of a fuss.
Then one day, Theo started howling. At first, Ingelson was puzzled by the sudden change in his behavior. But when her husband figured out what was behind Theo’s new vocal habit, they were both left stunned.
The Protective Big Brother

Ingelson’s husband discovered that Theo had become more vocal because he sensed Ingelson was pregnant. Somehow, he seemed to know a baby was on the way and wanted his future sibling to recognize his voice.
Theo’s behavior began to shift. Not only did he become louder, but he also became more protective and attentive toward Ingelson. He followed her around everywhere, ensuring her safety.

Sometimes, he would rest his head on her belly or gently lick it, as though showing affection for the baby even before they met.
Months later, the big day arrived. Ingelson gave birth to a baby girl.

While Ingelson was at the hospital, Theo stayed home, waiting patiently.
When the family returned, his reaction melted everyone’s hearts. As soon as Theo saw the baby in her car seat, he howled softly, almost as if saying, “Welcome home.”
He carefully sniffed her and immediately seemed to understand that this little human was now part of his pack.
A Lifelong Friendship

Ingelson recalled how Theo had been just as affectionate and protective during her first pregnancy.
From the moment their son came home as a newborn, Theo was right by his side. He would quietly lie near the crib, occasionally glancing up to ensure everything was fine.
As time went on, their bond grew even stronger. Theo became the boy’s first playmate and his most loyal protector.
When the boy started school, Theo’s days felt emptier. He missed the laughter and sound of little footsteps running around the house.
Every afternoon, Theo eagerly waited by the door, wagging his tail as soon as he heard the school bus arrive. It was clear that seeing his best friend again was always the highlight of his day.

When the baby girl arrived, Theo finally had a new companion. She quickly grew attached to him, feeling safe with him close by.
Theo’s gentle howling often comforted her, and she soon associated the sound with warmth and security.

Now, Theo enjoys life surrounded by both of his favorite humans, his baby sister and his three-year-old best friend. The beloved Husky even has his own TikTok account, where fans can watch his daily adventures and see just how devoted he is to his family.
