When Isa Machado and her family moved into their new home in Jacksonville, Florida, excitement filled the air.

Then she noticed movement near the wall. A tiny hand slid out through a thin opening in the paneling.
Small claws twitched for a moment before pulling back into the darkness. Isa stared in disbelief, her pulse racing as she tried to understand what she had witnessed.
