This is exactly how one woman in Tennessee felt when she woke up and realized her pup was acting strangely. Terrified by what could be happening, she headed straight to the vet, bracing herself for answers she feared she might hear.
What the veterinarian eventually revealed, however, was something she never imagined.
A Surprise Diagnosis
The morning Sam McGuire woke up, she faced one of those moments every pet parent dreads. Her one-year-old Pit Bull, Mabel, could barely stand, and even worse, she refused to eat anything.
Sam’s heart sank immediately. That was enough for her to grab her phone, schedule an urgent appointment, and try her best not to cry while talking on the line.
Until it was time to leave the house, she held Mabel close, overwhelmed with worry as she waited for the moment they would head out the door.

The visit still came out to $400, and Sam went from sobbing in panic to staring at her energetic dog in disbelief as Mabel quickly started playing again like nothing had ever happened.
