The day had been normal enough until he reached his car. A folded note fluttered against the window, half loose in the wind. He pulled it free, assuming it was some leftover advertisement.
One glance changed his pace. The handwriting looked personal; the message was direct. There was no signature, no name, just a few words that made him pause beside the driver’s door.
The car owner read the note again, not sure who the message was for. But the longer the California resident stood there, the more it felt impossible to ignore.
In a matter of seconds, an ordinary parking lot turned into the start of something no one could have predicted.
There Was A Dog Under The Car
After the concerned resident dropped to the ground, there was a shocking revelation. The dog was under the car, and she looked so desperate.
In order to help, the Good Samaritan left her some food and water so she could survive. It’s unclear how the dog ended up there, but it’s likely that she was abandoned.
She looked really scared, which is why she was hiding under the car. The kind person who gave her food and water kept checking up on her.
Then, a day later, someone stole the dog’s bed. It was the only thing she had left, so she went searching for it on the streets, but to no avail.
The people in the neighborhood who noticed the pup decided to search for her. She was alone and scared, so she couldn’t have gone far.
One woman actually found her hiding under a house because it was the only place she could go after her bed was taken from her.
The woman who found her immediately called Suzette Hall for help. She is a rescuer from California, and she has plenty of experience with situations like this.
Suzette Hall To The Rescue
After arriving at the location, she found the dog pretty quickly and saw just how skittish she was, so the plan was to lure her out with food.
Normally, it takes longer for scared dogs to actually go into the trap, but this one just got inside the trap and ate the food.
It speaks volumes about how hungry she was. Even though the people around the neighborhood had been trying to help her, she was hiding under the house for a while, so she didn’t have any food.
Hall immediately carried the dog into her vehicle and straight to the shelter in California, where she received even more food and medical help.
The vet team gave her a clean bill of health, but they did notice something unusual about her tail. She had a heart shape at the bottom of her tail, which is why the rescuers gave her the name Amour.
And it’s a very fitting name. Amour is a very sweet dog who just wants to belong somewhere. She looks sad now, but there is still a lot of hope for her.
She is slowly getting used to her rescuers, and with time, I am certain that she will make the most incredible transformation ever.
And who knows? Maybe shortly after that, she will find a forever home with someone amazing. We never know, but everyone is hoping for that outcome.
