Over the years, I’ve never quite understood why dogs seem drawn to destroying household items.
They often appear to know they’ll get scolded, yet in the moment, they’re too caught up in the fun to care. My own dog used to chew through everything, so we had to keep valuables out of reach.
Still, that doesn’t come close to what unfolded during one Kentucky delivery driver’s routine shift. While dropping off packages, he noticed something unusual attached to one of them.
Dogs And Their Love For Trouble

One of the best parts of this driver’s job is meeting the pets at each stop. Dogs and cats often greet him with excitement, and he’s never had a bad experience with any of them.
But this particular delivery was different.
He spotted a handwritten note warning him not to leave the package where the dog could reach it. When he arrived at the house, a cheerful dog greeted him at the door, clearly hoping for attention or maybe a treat.
The driver happily gave the pup some affection.

He retrieved the package and followed the instructions carefully, placing it on top of a blue car to keep it out of reach.
It became clear that the dog, named Hank, had a reputation for tearing into deliveries. The note was a precaution to prevent another mishap.
Despite the warning, Hank was endearing. The driver found him sweet and lovable, making it hard to imagine him causing any damage.
Still, he didn’t take any chances. He followed the directions and went on with his route.
Hank’s Reputation Goes Viral

After finishing his deliveries, the Kentucky driver shared a video about Hank on TikTok.
The clip quickly got attention, and viewers were charmed by Hank’s personality. Comments poured in, many defending the dog despite the warning.
One person wrote, “Hank is being framed! He’s innocent.”
Even though the evidence pointed to Hank’s mischief, his charm made people want to believe otherwise.
Another person said: “Hank 100% hurt his foot jumping up to get into trouble.”
That might be true, but it’s best not to jump to conclusions about Hank’s guilt.

Lastly, somebody shared their thoughts and commented: “My dog ate my senior pictures. I found them all over the yard.”
As a fellow dog owner, I can relate. Why dogs do these things remains a mystery, but one thing is certain: they’re lovable troublemakers.
Hank’s owners don’t seem to mind his antics. They love him regardless of the packages he’s managed to destroy.
The video serves as a gentle reminder to keep deliveries out of reach, but also to embrace the occasional chaos that comes with having a dog.
