While traveling in Minnesota with her dog, Wendell, Emilee realized she had left behind one pretty important thing: his leash.
Rather than letting it derail the day, she came up with a clever and hilarious fix that had social media laughing.

During her Minnesota visit, Emilee planned a quick stop to see her sister before heading off to meet other relatives. After catching up, the pair decided on a Starbucks run, complete with a well earned pup cup for Wendell.
There was just one problem. No leash.
Her sister suggested leaving Wendell at home, but Emilee was not ready to give up.
They searched the house for anything that might pass as a temporary leash and came up empty. Then Emilee noticed something plugged into the wall: an extension cord her sister used for charging devices.
She thought, “Why not?” In a flash of inspired creativity, Wendell’s new “leash” made its debut.
With Wendell clipped into his harness and trailing an orange extension cord, the group set out for Starbucks.
