One playful Dalmatian in West Virginia recently proved that point when he pulled off a quiet kitchen caper.
His owners weren’t thrilled at first, but it didn’t take long before they joined thousands of others laughing at the footage of his antics.
With a face like his, staying mad was impossible.
The Cheeky Culprit Strikes
Marshall, a five-year-old Dalmatian, lives in West Virginia with his owner Graham Godwin, his wife, and several other dogs. Most of the time, Marshall behaves well, but occasionally, temptation gets the better of him.
One such moment came when the scent of food from the kitchen proved too much to resist.
He peeked around the corner and saw his mom cooking, her back turned to the stove. On the counter sat a dish of Bob Evans mac and cheese: his dad’s lunch.
Marshall checked the scene a few more times to make sure no one was watching. Then, seizing the moment, he quietly entered the kitchen, rose onto his hind legs, and snatched the cheesy meal.
The family’s other dog remained still, acting as if nothing had happened.
Thinking he had pulled off the perfect crime, Marshall walked away with confidence. What he didn’t realize was that a security camera had recorded the entire event.
Once his owners saw the footage, they couldn’t resist sharing it on TikTok.
Online Viewers Can’t Stop Laughing
Rather than being upset, Marshall’s parents were amused by his stealth and by how unaware his mom was during the whole incident.
They uploaded the video, and it quickly went viral, drawing laughs and clever comments from TikTok users.
“looks like he tip toes in and out. 😂” one person wrote.
“Not his first offense I bet…..he was so sneaky 😂,” joked another.
And someone else chimed in: “I love how the bulldog just sat and watched 😅😂.”
To which the owner, @gegodwin10, replied: “lol he’s actually blind 😂,” which sent the comment section into a frenzy of laughter.
