For animals in such conditions, almost anything would be better than the life they are forced to endure. This is the story of a pregnant dog who suffered under her owner’s care for far too long.
Merica’s Terrible Situation
When Merica was discovered in a Texas neighborhood, she was chained outside her owner’s house, left to endure the elements.
This meant that every storm and every heavy rainfall hit her directly while she stood ignored, as if she didn’t matter at all.
Making things even worse, she was pregnant, and the chances of her puppies surviving without help were slim.
Her owners no longer cared about her because her past litters hadn’t survived, yet they still chose to keep her tied outside with no compassion.
