Dogs have a knack for catching us off guard.
Just when you think you’ve seen every quirk they have, they find a way to surprise you again, sometimes in the most hilarious way possible. I’ve lost track of how many times this has happened, but let’s just say it’s way more than I can count!
For Brittney, a woman from Kentucky, her “wow” moment came courtesy of her black Labrador, Midnight.
Midnight has always had a playful streak and a flair for the unexpected, but this time, he took things to a whole new level, leaving not only his mom but the entire internet amazed.
Caught In The Act
Like most Labs, Midnight enjoys adding a little excitement to everyday life. His favorite targets? His humans’ clothes, shoes, or whatever catches his eye at the moment.
“We puppy proof our house daily, but he can be so sneaky as soon as the laundry hamper comes out or the shoes come off,” Brittney shared on Instagram.
And, just like a mischievous toddler, Midnight tends to get extra quiet when he’s up to something.
“And just like a toddler… if you can’t see or hear them you probably can bet they’re into something they shouldn’t be,” she added.
One afternoon, while Brittney was doing her regular workout in the garage, Midnight wandered in. At first, it seemed innocent, until Brittney noticed that suspicious silence.
Sure enough, her dog’s attention was fixed on a bright yellow exercise ball.
What he did next was beyond anything she expected.
Midnight began pressing his nose against the ball again and again, almost like he was doing his own set of reps. It honestly looked like he was joining her workout session!
Brittney captured the moment on video, which quickly went viral.
“Make sure to exercise your snoot daily so your snoot will get big and strong,” she wrote in the video’s caption.
The comments section was full of laughs and love:
“The strongest snoot out there,” one person joked.
“How do I send this to my dog?” another asked.
Life’s Better With Midnight Around
Gym antics aside, Midnight is happiest just living his best life in Kentucky. He adores ear rubs, outdoor adventures, playing with his family, and hanging out with a neighborhood dog buddy.
For Brittney, he’s been the perfect companion.
“Midnight has brought so much joy into our lives! I think all the time we were so lucky to have gotten this sweet boy as he has fit into our lives seamlessly,” she wrote in another Instagram post.
