It’s heartbreaking to see a sweet dog who has been through so much finally lose hope.
Some stop looking for help altogether. They keep to themselves, taking food if it’s offered but avoiding any bond with people.
It’s a reminder of how deeply long-term neglect can affect a dog’s spirit.
When one such dog was spotted by a kind person, California rescuer Suzette Hall was quick to step in.
Hall Rushed To The Scene

After hearing about a dog hiding beneath a car, Hall grabbed her gear, treats, and headed out right away.
She found him quickly, and after asking around, learned he had been there for an entire day.
No one knew much about his history, but it seemed likely he had been abandoned by an owner who no longer wanted him.

Seeing him up close, Hall noticed the sadness in his eyes, as though he had no will to keep going.
Though timid, he didn’t panic or run from her.
Hall carefully slipped a leash around his neck. He resisted at first, but soon she had him secured, marking the start of his rescue.
Panda Faces A Serious Battle

Hall gently coaxed him out of his hiding spot and placed him in a kennel for transport to a California veterinary clinic.
Given his demeanor, they suspected illness, but the exact cause was unclear.
After an examination, the vet confirmed he had parvovirus.

The treatment was costly, so Hall appealed to her Facebook followers for help, determined to give the pup, now named Panda, a second chance.
She knew he deserved a warm home and a loving family, and she was committed to helping him get there.
While Panda’s story isn’t yet finished, there’s hope that with the right care, he will recover and go on to live a happier life.
