When folks first met Marley, a giant St. Bernard–Poodle mix from California, they couldn’t help wondering if she was even real.
I mean, she’s practically twice the size of her dad – and she could easily be mistaken for some larger animal if it weren’t for that adorable puffiness only a Poodle can flaunt.
The truth is simple: Marley is real – and she’s taking people by storm wherever she goes.
AI or Reality
I know what you’re thinking: this could easily be an AI footage. But let me say this: it’s not.
Marley is more than AI. She’s a real, living pet, and she couldn’t be more adorable in every possible way.
When her mom, Bambi, and her dad first brought her home as a Saint Bernard–Poodle mix puppy, they understood Marley would grow into a big dog.
What they didn’t account for was just how massive and fluffy she would actually become!
In a video from 2021, Marley appears as a striking, normal-sized crossbreed with a long, curly coat.
Only three years later, everything changed. Not only did Marley grow to an unimaginable size (around 100 lbs), but she actually became so big she could barely fit inside the house.
Plus, her fur is so long and curly that it looks like a floating cloud. Talk about a demanding grooming session!
The real shocker came when Marley’s owners decided to put her size into perspective.
In a clip posted on Instagram in July 2024, Marley was shown standing in the kitchen on her two legs beside her dad.
Her proportions looked so unreal that people began to wonder if she was even real.
“Hi I’m Marley, Saint Bernard x Poodle,” the video description reads.
The clip quickly went viral, gathering millions of views and likes within just a few days. In no time, Marley became a social media star, with endless admirers piling into the comments beneath the post.
“Is this real,” one commenter wrote.
“Sir you have a horse in your kitchen in case you didn’t notice,” another person jested.
One person noted that Marley’s grooming would take at least five hours.
“I just know groomers hate to see them coming… that’s easily a 5 hour job right there,” she concluded.
Marley Living The Absolute Best Life
Beyond the fact that she’s a bona fide giant, the truth is, this Saint Berdoodle is nothing but a cuddle bug.
Given the Poodle–St. Bernard mix, Marley’s traits are absolutely in her favor, as she’s a gentle dog who makes friends easily and doesn’t show aggression.
Sure, she sometimes likes to spice things up and put on a show of her own inside her California home, but that’s always for a good cause.
One thing Marley’s owners love to point out is that she’s one hundred percent a dad’s girl.
While her momma “manages” her, it’s her dad who spoils her and gets all the credit for Marley’s hauntingly cute quirks.
But at the end of the day, there’s no doubt that Marley adores them both.
She’s her family’s princess who simply enjoys being a beloved pet to her people, and she could ask for nothing more!
