Exactly four years ago, Meghan and Steve were taking one of their very first road trips together to Colorado. Everything seemed normal — until it wasn’t.
Instead of sitting upright during the drive, Meghan noticed Steve lying completely still on the car mat. He hadn’t moved in hours.
And then it hit her.
“On this day 4 years ago, Steve made his very first core memory,” Meghan wrote in the video.
At the time, Steve was so tiny that his usual harness didn’t fit. Meghan had to improvise and use a snug-fitting life jacket with strong Velcro instead.
“I had to use this life jacket for Steve because he was too small to fit in his harness, and it’s like this really strong Velcro. As I was driving back to Colorado, he was on the floor of the car and didn’t move for hours,” she said in the video.
When Meghan took a closer look at the situation, she realized the hilarious truth—Steve had accidentally Velcroed himself to the car floor!
The comical moment was caught on camera and later shared online. Unsurprisingly, the video went viral and turned Steve into a full-blown TikTok star.
