When this sweet pup was taken into the shelter by Texas rescuers, they hoped to find a beautiful family for him, but even they didn’t expect what would happen next.
She Is Going Home In What?!
When Taylor and Jason Cavileer settled on adopting a dog named Lumina from a shelter in Texas, called Hannah’s Southern Paws Rescue, they wanted to get it done quickly.
Up to this point, this sweet pup had already been through a lot, but she and her sibling were rescued and given a new chance.
They were eager to meet Lumina, but there was a catch. The family was actually from California, so getting to her was going to be difficult.
The rescuers had a pretty genius plan on how to help. They transported her all the way to Rancho Santa Fe, but that was still at least 9 hours away from their home.
So, they came up with a second idea. A volunteer pilot decided to transport Lumina to them by airplane. Now, that is something special.
This allowed Taylor and Jason to come and pick her up and she was finally able to meet her new family in California. It was clear from the beginning that they were going to get along great.
The family noted how she already has her favorite spot in the house, and they are showering her with affection, and she is enjoying every second of it.
