Scared Pup Dumped Next To A Freeway In California Hid In A Bush Until Something Amazing Happened

We live in a world that shows us actively just how much apathy there is towards animals. Regardless, we always try to disprove that by contributing somehow.

Even simple deeds to help a stray animal are a sign that there are people in this world who care and want to do at least something to help.

Small gestures like this help raise awareness about the issue of abandoned dogs, and they help because we are slowly moving in the right direction as humanity.

The story we will talk about today is one perfect example of that. When this pup was abandoned next to a freeway in California, she did not anticipate what would happen to her next.

She Was Finally Noticed

When Suzette Hall was first contacted about a dog who was abandoned next to the dangerous freeway, she felt heartbroken, but she knew that something had to be done.

At first, a few kind people who lived nearby tried to rescue this dog, but she was just so scared that their rescue attempt was futile.

Shortly after, they drove up to the location as soon as they could and found her in no time. She was hiding in a bush and something was different now.

Hall and her friend Mary Nakiso noticed that the dog was actually less scared of people today. I think she just realized that these people want to help.

Considering that she was so close to the freeway, they knew that they had no time to lose, so they very slowly approached her.

When they got close, Hall placed a leash around her neck and they were able to take her to safety, far away from the road.

Hall took her to the veterinarian clinic in California where she would receive a thorough medical examination and hopefully a clean bill of health.

She looks to be a bit emaciated and dehydrated, but that does not come as a surprise considering where she had spent the last few days.

The pup, now named Dream, finally got a chance to enjoy a good meal and just relax in her kennel. Hopefully, Hall will soon help her find a permanent home.

Seeing how safe and happy she felt in the shelter shows just how much she struggled before being rescued.

While little is known about her past or who her owner was, it was not a good relationship, and Hall was just happy to see that Dream would get a new chance to show the world who she really is.

Rescuing is really a noble profession and stories like this always remind us how important it is that we all do our part in saving animals who need our help.
