Seeing dogs display naughty behavior is nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, I would wager that most dog owners have had to deal with such things at some point.
Whether this behavior is intentional or not is the problem. Sometimes, pups can break things and they don’t mean it – it just happens.
Other times, it’s more deliberate. If you leave your food in front of them, then they won’t be able to control their urge to eat it, and act mischievously on purpose.
Such was the case for this sweet pup who ended up doing something unusual, but she didn’t know that her owner had caught it all on camera.
He Thought He Was Being Sneaky
Living in a full house isn’t simple, especially not for these dog owners from Texas. They have kids in the house and it’s only a matter of time before some incident occurs.
This is usually a chance for their pup, Margot, to act out and do something that is not just naughty but also oddly hilarious.
At one point, one of the kids left the pantry open and Margot saw this as a chance to seize the moment. She immediately went inside and grabbed whatever food she could.
Among the stolen items were animal crackers, cheese, and tortillas. She looked around to see if anyone would see her, but there was no one there.
She took the goods outside and decided to eat them all, but she had no idea that she was being watched the whole time.
The family had a camera inside the house that caught the entire incident, and when the owner realized that the food was missing, checking the camera footage was the next move.
What Did The Camera Reveal?
After being caught red-handed, the Texas owners couldn’t help but laugh at this incident. The fact that Margot went back and forth a few times to get the food she wanted was hilarious.
The family uploaded the camera footage on their TikTok page, where it received overwhelming support – all in Margot’s favor.
One person commented: “What is the crime? Eating a meal? A succulent Hispanic meal?”
Honestly, I can’t figure it out either. The dog just wanted to make a delicious meal for herself, so she grabbed what she needed to get it done. It’s as simple as that.
Another person said: “But do you have proof he wasn’t donating them to the less fortunate????? DIDNT THINK SO.”
Now, we’re thinking outside the box with this one. I am definitely positive that could have happened, but I won’t say it conclusively.
Lastly, somebody commented: “Ok but, let’s salute the pup. Takes all the snacks outside, not making a mess in the pantry.”
Or maybe she was doing it because she knew it was wrong and wanted to eat it outside where there is a smaller chance her owners will catch her. The proof is all there.
Still, this one clip has definitely brightened my day and it shows us all how dogs can get really clever when they are executing one of their ‘crimes’. It’s just adorable.
