When people first saw Marley, a giant St. Bernard Poodle mix from California, they couldn’t help but wonder if she was even real.
I mean, she’s literally twice the size of her dad – and she could easily be mistaken for a bigger animal if it weren’t for her adorable puffiness that only a Poodle can showcase. The truth is: Marley is real – and she’s definitely taking people by storm everywhere she goes.
AI or Reality
I know what you’re thinking: this could easily be an AI footage. But, let me tell you right now: it’s not. Marley is more than AI. She’s a real-living pet, and she couldn’t be more adorable in all ways possible.
When her mom, Bambi, and her dad, first brought her home as a Saint Bernard Poodle mix puppy, they were aware of the fact that Marley would grow into a large dog. What they didn’t take into account was how big and fluffy she would actually be!
In the video from 2021, Marley is shown as a striking, regular-sized crossbreed with a long, curly coat. Only three years later, everything changed. Not only did Marley grow to an unimaginable size (around 100 lbs), but she actually became so big she could barely fit in the house.
Plus, her fur is so long and curly that it looks like a cloud. Talk about a demanding grooming session!
The real shocker came when Marley’s owners decided to put her size into context. In the video posted on Instagram in July 2024, Marley was shown standing in the kitchen on her two legs with her dad.
Her size looked so unreal people began to wonder if she was even real.
“Hi I’m Marley, Saint Bernard x Poodle,” the video description reads.
The video soon went viral, garnering millions of views and likes within just a few days. In no time, Marley became a social media star, with endless admirers leaving comments under the video.
“Is this real,” one commenter wrote.
“Sir you have a horse in your kitchen in case you didn’t notice,” another person jested.
One person noted that Marley’s grooming would take at least five hours.
“I just know groomers hate to see them coming… that’s easily a 5 hour job right there,” she concluded.
Marley Living The Absolute Best Life
Aside from the fact that she’s a real giant, the truth is, this Saint Berdoodle is nothing but a cuddle bug.
Given the Poodle-St. Bernard nature, Marley’s traits are absolutely in her favor, as she’s a gentle dog that easily makes friends and doesn’t exhibit aggression.
Sure, she occasionally loves to spice things up and make a show of her own inside her California home, but that’s all for a good cause.
One thing Marley’s owners love to emphasize is that she’s one hundred percent a dad’s girl. While her momma “manages” her, it’s her dad who spoils her and gets all the credit for Marley’s hauntingly cute quirks.
But, at the end of the day, there’s no doubt that Marley loves them both. She’s her family’s princess who just enjoys being a beloved pet to her owners, and she could ask for nothing more!
