It’s a mix of confusion, fear, and hope, all at the same time. You are never sure if they just went on their own for a stroll or if they will be back.
On the other hand, you assume the worst and think it’s unlikely you will ever see your beloved pup again. Hope is what keeps us sane in moments like that.
When this owner from Nevada lost his pup, Lola, things turned upside down for the family, only for something shocking to happen a few days later.
A Huge Surprise 5 Days Later
It was a very ordinary day for Quincy Thomas and his family when suddenly, something shocking happened.
They realized that their dog had gone missing and they couldn’t find her anywhere. They were extremely worried that she might have gotten hurt.
The family did their best to look for her, but they were also hoping that she was in the vicinity of her home. There was no way to know, really.
Five days went by, and there was no sign of her coming back home. Quincy was on his morning commute and was trying to make an announcement on a video when something happened.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his pup, Lola, right outside on the streets of Nevada, so he quickly stopped and started calling out her name.
She noticed her owner, and he went straight outside to meet her. He called her again, and she just ran straight to him. They were reunited once again.
He took her into his car and drove back home to tell his family that Lola had been found. Quincy let out a huge sigh of relief, knowing that she was now safe and with them again.

Surprisingly, Quincy was recording a video when this moment happened, so all of it was caught on camera. He posted the clip on his socials, and it’s no surprise that it blew up.
A lot of people were surprised by how lucky Quincy was at this moment to have the camera recording while other people were showing support for his situation.
One person commented: “Not Lola hopping in like she got picked up from the airport. She has no clue how much stress she put that man through just vibes.”
It seems that Lola was a bit spoiled, considering this was her reaction. Nevertheless, everyone is just happy that she is safe again.
Another person said: “I left my dog with my mom to go on a bachelorette weekend and she got loose. We looked for days but I finally had to give up. It was such a horrible feeling but I had to return to work. On my way to the freeway to go back home I spotted her out in an orchard. I don’t know if I’ve cried that hard.”
It’s always wholesome to read other people’s stories that are similar to this one. It shows just how much these owners care for their furry companions.
Lastly, somebody commented: “He was about to hop out that car before it even stopped moving and HE was driving. I feel him though I’d be the same way.”
Well, I think in that moment, a mixture of emotions made him react that way. Luckily, he was able to get her quickly, and she is now safe.
Given how difficult this situation was for Quincy and his family, it’s very fortunate that everything turned out great for them, and their dog, Lola, is now with them again.
