Margot was a dog who was found by rescuers in a Walmart parking lot, scared and alone.
As soon as they managed to catch her, she was taken to the local shelter where she had been given a very thorough checkup.
Since the shelter staff received no calls about a missing dog fitting her description, and finding no microchip, they decided to put her up for adoption.
New Life
A woman named Julia was on the lookout to adopt a dog, and when she saw a picture of Margot, she instantly fell in love.
Finding out that she was looking for a forever home, two days later, Julia went to the shelter and Margot went to her forever home.
At first, Margot was very shy and quiet. She was trying to adapt to her new environment, not quite sure of what was going on.
As time went on, she started to relax. Whenever she would see Julia relaxing on her couch, she would make her way over to her, resting her head in her lap and asking for cuddles.
She also loved to lay on top of Julia whenever she would catch her in bed.

Even though Julia grew up with dogs, she never experienced anything quite like this.
A Completely Different Dog
After three months at her new home, Margot sure showed her true personality.
“She is literally crazy,” said Julia.
Margot started running around, jumping, and just overall being super silly.

As soon as she would hear somebody laughing at her little tricks, she would continue to do them. She just loved making people laugh.
However, Margot has her quiet side, too.
Sometimes, it’s cuddles, and other times, she just wants to be alone, but most of the time, she is just completely taken over by her zoomies.

As much as she loves to run around and make silly faces, her favorite thing to do is spend time with her mom.
I never have alone time. I can’t even close the bathroom door on her.
But, that doesn’t bother Julia at all. Since Margot and Julia have the same personality, their days spent together are the best things ever!
She’s the light of my life even though she drives me insane sometimes.

It truly warms my heart to see a dog find a loving family he or she deserves. It is one of the best things to witness!
